Flat out Feasts has earned a permanent spot in the food bag

Just wrapped up another Algonquin trip and Flat Out Feasts came through again. This was my third time ordering, and my biggest haul so far (four sampler packs)

The portions are decent, every meal tastes fresh and balanced, not overloaded with cheap fillers and low quality ingredients. I try to stay away from wheat so the ingredient profile of their meals really works for me, while meeting my high protein demands. If I’m really hungry I’ll add some instant rice as they suggest. I’ve never had any bloating or stomach issues with their food, which says a lot after days of backcountry eating. You can tell the ingredients are good quality and thoughtfully chosen.

Flat out feasts has successfully ruined other brands for me and is now my only option when going backcountry camping.

Wonderful taste, flavour, ingredients and pricr

I’ve been on keto for 8 years and didn’t want to compromise on my first canoe trip. I was so glad to find flat out feasts and the different meal options available. WOW the flavours have been amazing and tasty! There’s so much protein and meat that has me feeling very satisfied. When you compare the price it’s very reasonable and comparable to mountain house meals, but you get a lot more protein and the ingredients are high-quality, nothing artificial. There’s so much care in each meal. I’ll be ordering again for my next trip!

The best I've tried

I'm just back from 8 days in the backcountry and I was really impressed with these meals. Not only was I excited to find a Canadian brand, but I was really impressed with the food quality and flavors. The meals take a very reasonable amount of water to rehydrate and I found that they reconstituted more completely and in less time than other brands. Thanks for a great product!
